La compensación de los daños por infracción de las normas de competencia tras la Directiva 2014/104/UE
Juan Ignacio Ruiz Peris
The adoption of Directive 2014/104/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26 November 2014 on certain rules governing actions for damages under national law for infringements of the competition law provisions of the Member States and of the European Union, completely changes the previous context in Europe characterized by its sluggish state, the lack of damages claims, the wide range of legislations and its enforcement and the cartelists' and other infringers' impunity.
The present work gathers the analysis not only concerning the Directive itself, but as well its transposition into the Spanish legal system.
It counts on different contributions from experts on the matter, a systematic analysis of the main topics of damages compensation arising in competition law infringements both at a European an national level. The work might be extremely interesting for those who aim at specializing in damages or might want to expand their legal skills towards damages arising in competition infringements such as cartels and abuses of dominance.
